![]() ![]() If you have an escrow account and your bank or mortgage company is responsible for the payment of your taxes, the original bill will be mailed to them and you will receive an “advice” copy for your records. Please make checks payable to the Town of Harrison and include your block and lot number. ![]() Receipts are given at the time of payment only, duplicate receipts cannot be issued. If paying by mail, a self-addressed stamped envelope would be required to return your receipt to you. Whether paying in person or by mail and you require a receipt, please bring or enclose the entire tax bill. ![]() If you are mailing a check to pay your taxes, please include the stub for the quarter due. Our office accepts checks, bank checks, money orders and cash. If an estimated bill is due for the 3rd quarter (August), the difference is billed in the 4th quarter. After the tax rate is certified, the difference is billed in the 3rd and 4th quarter (August and November). The 1st and 2nd quarter (February and May) are preliminary taxes, based on one-half of the prior year’s taxes. Property taxes are due February 1st, May 1st, August 1st and November 1st.
